Sagar's Journey

What is your Sober Date? Tell us a short paragraph on how you are living your best life now post addiction and recovery?

I got sober on 30th jan 2019. I can feel and express emotions ideas and think logically with various perspectives. I've started creating music along with my business and dancing ,painting, physical exercise too. I've been eating healthy food ,soul food . I've gained my body back .my subconscious communicates in new Neuro patterns. I've got my family friends and loved ones back . So I am living the best life that I can !!!

How did addiction keep you from living your best life?

When I was in drugs I couldn't feel focus express and react in a certain way . I couldn't think in the right thought form basically distorted reality. I wasn't fully functional if we may call it because all I had in mind was drugs all the time . I used to chase drugs and consume them ,had sleeping and eating disorders .

What and who guided you toward an addiction free journey?

My parents ,friends and a psychologist (*soul* *healer*) helped me through this tough time . They used communication as a way to help me get my reality check basically the way i was living doing nothung but drugs and thinking I'm always up to something but actually nothing!

What plan and steps did you take to get out of addiction?

I went to a rehabilitation centre 3 times . Before going my reality was completely distorted. But as I went there everything started changing and life was okayish. I followed the Alcoholics anonymous or narcotics anonymous it's just the same .
I relapsed and the book says that relapse is fine. It's a part of the process . But recovery is never a process it's an event . So the 3rd time that I went to the rehabilitation centre I shifted my focus from AA /NA to Rational Recovery and it did wonders for me specifically. When I came out of the rehab I was 100% sure that I won't consume and I haven't since then. There are other aspects of this journey too. I met a psychologist a soul healer, the way that she explained the psychological patterns of an addict I knew I'm alright now and won't consume in future . It's all a subconscious programming. New perspectives did wonders for me with the grace of God!.

When did you decide it was time to take action?

The moment I could understand the psychology behind the books like AA or NA I knew something was wrong with the program but when I could understand my own psychology the psychology of an addict towards drug or any addiction I overcame it with the help of Rational Recovery and the soul healer . I said NOW!!! Is the time to take action and raise the vibration.

What was at stake for you if you didn't take these actions to get sober?

The body that I have was at stake. I could be on my deathbed if I didn't quit .

For someone in the same situation as you were who wants to get clean, what would you want to tell them?

First of all I would like to congratulate the addict because he/she lost themselves in order to find their true selves back. A lesson is a blessing in disguise. NOW!!! Read Rational Recovery and join Mind Valley academy. That's it reprogramm your subconscious and your all the way up !.
